How would you paint love’s face?
Is she’s as beautiful as sky above?
Is she’s full of mercy and grace?
When love comes, what do you see?
Is she stable as rock, or like a wind in motion?
Does she gentle and warm as a shallow sea?
Or she’s deep and dangerous as an ocean?
I don’t know what your perception of love is
How do you handle her charm?
When she comes, she comes with a gentle kiss
She’s just love you would say, there’s no harm
Sometimes I hear her knocking at my door
I’m terrified and trying to hide
She never settles for little, but always for more
Love doesn’t have any pride
She will make you forget most important things
You will not walk, you will fly
She’ll beat you up and bring you to your knees
She will make you suffer and cry
Love will deceive you by sweetest illusion
You’ll be fooled by her lies
You’ll be struck with confusion
When she comes, I chase her away
I don’t want to suffer from her cruel game
But I must confess, if I may
I have realized Love’s real name.
I resist her with all my strength
And when my straggle with love is done
I trying to find reasons to go on
But I can’t see anything, all reasons are gone
When love kills me, I feel alive
Doesn’t make any sense but its true
The true name of love is LIFE.
I’m breathing again, when I say “I Love You”.
