A snow-storm (Кладовка (проза, не вошедшая в рубрики))

There was a snow-storm. Gentle tiny flakes were falling down all the day long. And the ground became white, clean and purified. The trees put on luxury furcoats of snow and were standing stock-still. The roar of the town's heart, formed by thousands of cars and factories became quiter. And snowflakes in the air above it all...
By the evening all the city turned white, as if a young bride waiting for her bridegroom. And when the illumination was on, it started to sparkle with millions of diamonds. And people were gazing at its beauty out of the windows and walking along city paths, and loking out of their cars.
At midnight an old man came to the city. He was working hard all the day long and now he came to glance at what he had done. And he walked throw the city, and saw all that miracle. And he was pleased with what he saw. And there was evening and there was morning, a ### day.
